College Town Vallejo Launch

(Vallejo, CA – April 10, 2015)– As the home to three institutions of higher learning, Vallejo is an educational hub for thousands of college students. Friday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m., the City of Vallejo, Touro University California, Solano Community College and California State University Maritime Academy are launching a new phase of the city’s College Town initiative, designed to celebrate this essential feature of the community. The formal invitation can be viewed here.

Mayor Osby Davis will join with representatives from all three institutions for a College Town Vallejo Launch to celebrate the raising of the College Town banners along Georgia Street. The event will be held at Vallejo Unity Plaza at the corner of Georgia and Santa Clara Streets. Light refreshments will follow the brief program.
